What people are saying
Dr. Anita Eastlack
Director of Evangelism and Discipleship for the Northeast District of the Wesleyan Church

"During the summer, 185 leaders across our Northeast District of The Wesleyan Church participated in Dinner Church training, and the impact was immediate. Within two months, eight new dinner churches launched, with six more churches in the process of finalizing their plan. This training has proven to be a powerful tool for equipping everyday missionaries and multiplying fresh expressions of church in our communities. Our dream is to see dozens more in the next couple of years, reaching new people in new places in new ways and on new days."
Phil Gardner
Sandusky, Ohio

"This old retired guy is learning how effective mission is being done these days...creating relationships with people and inviting them, not to buildings, but to Jesus. Our area has created a Fresh Expressions "mission outpost" to help put interested Christians in direct contact with a trained FX strategist. We'll see what the Spirit has in store for our 'neck of the woods'!"
"Heather is amazing! She carries a humble spirit that makes it easy to stay curious and explore something new like Fresh Expressions with her. Her experience in leading different expressions was both insightful and encouraging. Her flexibility and go-with-the-flow attitude made it a joy to invite and host her—she truly embodies the ‘try it out’ posture and authentic relationships that are at the heart of Fresh Expressions."
Hilda Santiago
Program Manager for Migration Ministries and Diversifying Communities for the Southwestern Texas Synod

Fresh Expression Outposts are where pioneers and practitioners can interact locally and gain free coaching, collaboration, and community with others in the Fresh Expressions movement. The Outpost Coordinator both cultivates and contributes to this refreshing effort in our localized areas. The Outpost Coordinator is sent by Fresh Expressions NA and provided by generous partners to guide church leaders and teams in reimagining discipleship and rediscovering mission through pioneering a fresh expression Initiative, bringing about a revitalization and new life in the church.
Get Refreshed
Free Coaching, Collaboration, and Community to reimagine discipleship, rediscover mission, and revitalize church.
Coaching involves teaching, consulting, and mentoring specific to your context.
Collaboration involves preparing, listening, experimenting, and contributing to our fellow practitioners through the outpost.
Community often results in encouragement and refinement in our fresh expression initiatives.
How should I interact with an outpost?
The best way to begin interacting with an outpost is to get in touch with the coordinator for a relational meeting. Why? Outposts will not flourish without the development of relationships together.
Past that point, our outposts will help you think, explore, participate, and practice fresh expression initiatives within your community.

Bring New Life, Together
Help Sprout New Life to Refresh Church Communities

Whether your church community is in a season of life, pruning, cultivation, or death – there is revitalized life coming through something fresh!

here are the realities:

Thousands of church organizations are closing each year.1

Church leaders were never equipped or taught how to evangelize people or people groups in seminary.2
